The Impact of Tourism and Development on the Environment
Globalization has opened doors for tourism, and with the full “reopening” of the world after the pandemic, its numbers have never been higher. This has, however, caused many concerns for the preservation of green areas and the overall ecological conservation of the environment. Governments from around the world must now seek balance between the growth of their tourism industry and therefore their economy, while keeping in mind the importance of wildlife conservation. As global travel increases, it could lead to the destruction of the natural ecosystem, which might prove controversial. Here arises the importance of managing the field. And so, this committee seeks to find balance between developing the tourism industry and conserving the environment.
